Display Gymnastics

Display Gymnastics comes under the Gymnastics for All Programme and provides an opportunity for gymnasts to perform at events across Scotland. The display sessions are purely based on floor work including tumbling, dance, lifts, and acrobatics, which will form a routine that will be performed.

If your child is interested in joining our display team, they must be in a General Beginners/ Intermediate 2 Class and have passed Proficiency Level 6 and working towards their Level 7 Award, and a current member of Lasswade Gymnastics Club. The groups that are eligible to join our display team are:
•    General Beginner & Intermediate Class – Passed Proficiency Level 6
•    WA & MA Floor & Vault Intermediate Class
•    WA & MA Floor & Vault Advance Class
•    WA Competitive Gymnasts – Preparation 2 and above
•    MA Competitive Gymnasts – Grade 2 & Above.

 

Training Times
Thursday 6 pm – 9 pm 

Gymnasts must be fully committed to the training times, as this is a team performance low attendance is detrimental to the group’s performance/ standard. The expectation is that gymnasts will perform at National Events when available. All Display Events/ trips are self-funded.
